Welcome to Empower Integrative Therapy...
Just as life can be a confusing process, so can finding the right therapist. My hope is that this website will give you a little more information about who I am to help determine if I may be a good fit for you.
Who I am:
I am yoga teacher, social worker, wellness coach, and therapist, with over 9 years experience helping people learn how to heal trauma and stress and live a more fulfilling life through yoga, therapy, and meditation. I am trained in integrative wellness coaching and therapy, specifically therapy focused on healing the nervous system to help overcome trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression.
What I believe:
I believe that life is inherently traumatic and stressful for most of us, but being an eternal optimist, I also believe that healing is possible and life can be incredible with the right guidance and support.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship. I often challenge my clients to work hard, and with difficult emotions and feelings, but I also am with them every step of the way. I believe in being authentic and honest, and like to throw in some humor to lighten things up, as needed. "Its only life, after all." (-indigo girls)
My office location:
I have two offices; one in Littleton (by Arapahoe Community College) and one in Wheat Ridge (42nd and Kipling).
I currently accept BHI medicaid (Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas Counties), ABC medicaid (Denver County), CHP, Victim's Compensation, and private pay at the rate of $130/hour (sliding scale available, as needed)
Please note that I DO NOT take Jefferson County Medicaid.
