About Me

I have always been passionate about movement, nutrition, nature, and holistic wellness. In my career I have been able to combine all of my passions into my therapy practice to help people heal from trauma, stress, and life’s hardships. Since graduating in 2010 with my Master’s degree in Social Work I have worked in various settings, including hospice, juvenile detention, community mental health, non-profit, and private practice.

I have my RYT-500 (advanced yoga teacher training), and have been combining yoga and psychotherapy since I started as a therapist. I am now trained in various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, gestalt, wellness coaching, and integrative nutrition for mental health, and have integrated it all into my treatment framework. I now believe that in order to help people find complete wellness and mental ease, we must treat the whole person- mind, body, and spirit.

Where attention goes, neural firing flows, and neural connection grows.

My Philosophy

I serve individuals and focus on empowering people to live their best life possible!

I believe…

  • That we are living unnaturally in our world, and disconnected from our true human-nature, which is creating distress, dis-ease, and disharmony.

  • That by connecting to our true nature as humans, including our mind, body, spirit, and the earth, we can tap into our own natural wisdom and heal.

  • That people who are willing to take action to create lasting change can create a life they love despite the growing pains.

  • In supporting my clients toward action-based results, and helping them to gain awareness, learn tools and skills, and take steps toward creating wanted changes in their lives.

  • That it is never too late to rewire your brain and create more adaptive ways of living and coping in the world.

Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.
— B.K.S. Iyengar
